A day in the life

happy, after a bath

I'm just hanging out on the changing table.

Getting ready to go for a ride

Daddy feeds Lucy

Napping on Momma

This is Mr. "I don't need a nap", napping

Later folks!

The Lucy news:

Dad went back to work today. Five weeks that flew by in seconds. I'm sure that we'll be parenting a 3 year old before we know it.

We were at the doctors office yesterday and plopped Lucy on the scale for an in between official appointments weigh in. Our little 7 pound 12 ounce baby has grown to 9 pounds 14 ounces. Go Lucy! We don't have the official weight because we didn't strip her naked or remove the diaper, so Jason and I are "calling it" at 9 pounds, 9 ounces. We'll have an official weigh in on her 2 month check up in May.

I'm solo parenting today, but in spite of my worry about not being able to set Lucy down I have had time to shower, dress, heck I've even used the loo a couple times. I've got some laundry going, uploaded photos and am working on more thank you notes.

I do have a confession that I have one thank you note to write and I can not remember what these kind folks sent to Lucy. I hope a vague thank you for your generosity isn't too obvious.

The little one is swinging in the rocker and napping so my window for activity is limited. I should go if I want to get the thank you notes done.

I once thought that my two babys were the most beautiful babys in the world, but now I see that Lucy is the most beautiful. Go Lucy
