Life as a newly engaged person is thrilling. There are wedding things to talk about, song lists to discuss, invitations to order, for the pent-up bride it is an exciting time.
Last night, we drove into town and procured our sparkling wine for the wedding. It was on sale, and there was room in J's wine locker to store it.
The real benefit of buying things as they come on sale is that we won't be paying for everything all at once. So, by the time the next big purchase comes along, the sparkling wine will seem like a free item.
But, once we got home we sat down to watch a little tv. We are trying to catch up to the current CSI so that when people start talking about Grissom's departure that we're up to date. Well.. 20 minutes in we were both asleep. I don't mean lightly napping but still listening to the tv, but full on drooling and head dropping sleeping. We finally woke up around 8:30 and moved back to the bedroom to watch something "more exciting." I think it was Law & Order, SVU - but all I really remember is waking up when J took my phone out of my hand and turned off my light.
We are an exciting exciting couple of people. How nice to get a preview of what life will be like at eighty.
